WARNING: THIS IS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! This was soooo funny. Matt went to a door with the kids and the guy reached inside a cooler and handed Matt an "adult" drink. Not realizing what it was going to be Matt took it. My Mom and I were laughing so hard!!! That's just what happens here in Richmond, it is a known fact that the Dad's all drink while they take the kids trick-or-treating. I hear beer is good to wash your hair in, so I'm going to use it on my hair. This was a good laugh for us!!!

"Super Grandma"

"Super Grandma", came to help us out! Matt is having shoulder surgery tomorrow...he was in a car accident in June and after many Doctor appointments, he is finally having surgery to hopefully make his shoulder all better. Grandma came to run the show at home, so that I can take care of Matt. Thanks "Super Grandma"! Of coarse Calee had to make Grandma an official "Super Grandma" emblem to wear on Halloween night.

Trunk-or-Treat

We went to the "Trunk-or-Treat" at our church tonight. The kids had a blast, so did the adults! Calee colored the Super Man signs for Mom and Dad, she wanted us all to match.

Calee is having such a great time with Brock. She takes him into her room and pretends he's her little doll. Brock has no idea what is going on and goes along with Calee's plans.
The cradle she has him in my Mom made for me when I was a little girl, I loved it and now Calee loves it. Thanks Grandma Z.!

Back to School

Matt is heading back to school the first week in January. He has been accepted to the Doctorate program at VCU, he will go part-time. Matt will be able to continue to work full-time during the Doctorate program. This degree is not necessary for Matt and what he is doing right now, but if he wants to be a professor later on, he will have that option open to him. The program hasn't even started and he is already studying, go get 'em Matt!
And yes...when I took this picture his said, "What are you doing?!".

Our Baby Brock is 9 months old!

We can't believe how fast the time has flown by! Brock is already 9 months old. He is doing so many things these days . . . standing on objects (he'll sometimes let go for a few seconds), crawling everywhere, dancing, and laughing and smiling all the time. Brock now weighs . . . 21 lbs. 10 oz.(75%), and he is 30 1/4" tall (97%). The doctor says he's perfect, and we agree!

Soccer Saturday

The kids are playing Fall soccer and loving it. Calee's team is the "Vipers", she is playing 5 vs. 5 with a goalie. Gavin's team is the "Riverhounds", he is playing 3 vs. 3. It's a lot of fun to watch, and we get to visit with our friends from the sidelines. Gavin and Calee both have great friends playing with them. It's a fun way to start our Saturday mornings!
