Matt's surgery

Matt had his shoulder surgery yesterday. He was in a car accident back in June, and this is the soonest we could get everything in order to take care of the damage that has been done to his shoulder. Matt has had to see so many Specialists since his accident, that is why it has taken so long to get him into surgery. He is in an arm/shoulder brace, and will be in that for the next 6 weeks (ALL THE TIME), then he will start Physical Therapy for 6 more weeks. Matt will be unable to work for the next 12 or so weeks. He is in a LOT of pain, and is spending most of his days sleeping. It has been a long 2 days at the hospital, his surgery was almost 6 hours long, he stayed the night then was discharged to go home today at about 3:00 P.M. He is in good spirits and is WELL medicated! The Specialists (2 different surgeons) that operated on him were wonderful. Get well soon Baby!!

Matt trying to smile. Poor guy has been through so much!

Holy Moly! Poor Fella. Cort busted his ankle pretty bad and also had surgery and physical therapy--it's a bummer. So this doesn't have to do with the surgery but you guys have the cutest family! I think the last time I saw you was at Melissa Larsen/Glover's wedding reception a few years ago. Your kids are so big now!! Wow. You guys look so great!!!!
